I'm in the middle of teaching the ratios unit to my 7th graders, and I definitely think I will use these materials.
I think this lesson will be especially effective for more visual learners.
My only complaint (and this is rather minor) is that the lesson requires a lot of paper. My school is extremely stingy with paper and many teachers end up buying their own. Therefore, I may end up projecting some of these problems and have students work on them on the mini whiteboards, I have in my class.
