Great video about Personalized Digital Magazine

Your video had great sound quality and it was very informative. However, at times Brittany talked a little too fast and the switch offs were not always smooth.
I had never really heard of digital magazines before this video--great job on explaining what it actually is. How you explained how we can integrate it into classrooms was great! Two suggestions would be to title your video and also to slow down the transitions as well as the website you posted.
Prior to watching this video, I was not aware of digital magazines. I like the portion of the video that shows the different types of digital magazines available. Also the section of the video, which discussed how these types of magazines could be used in a classroom was interesting. A way to make the video better would be to have better graphics. Also a way to improve the video would be to slow down the transitions.
I was unaware of these digital magazines before watching this video. I am not very Internet savy and it was cool to learn about the different digital magazine websites. I think this is a very helpful tool and it is easy to use. This is the upcoming thing in the technology world and I really enjoyed the video. One thing that was confusing was you did not title the youtube video. It just said 5x7 and It would get more attention if it had a more interesting name. But overall, great job!
The video was informative and it showed a good job on how it can be used in the classroom. The sound was off sometimes with the images and I think that the background could have had maybe some music to make it more engaging.
I thought this was a really good video. I said this about one other video, but I really liked the speed you delivered your information. Not too fast to get confused, but not to slow to get bored. I also liked that you seemed to really focus on how to use these in a classroom, and why it was such a good idea. You made me believe they would be a good addition to a classroom. Sometimes the sound seemed to have a small echo, but that's not a huge problem. Also, some of the pictures were a little blurry. Overall, you did a great job!
I loved the beginning! Very creative way to engage the audience and tie into your topic of digital magazines. I also thought you did a great job of clearly explaining what a digital magazine is. I haven't heard of a digital magazine before, so this was a very cool video. I also really liked the variety of the clips you used. My only thoughts would be to maybe include some other visual element besides the clips, such as text or video. I might also add some sort of an ending slide. The video ended a bit abruptly to me. Otherwise, nicely done!
Haha! Great intro! I didn’t know what digital personalized magazine was so I’m glad you made this video. I like how you emphasized the fact that it really looks into your social networks and articles you most read to personalize your experience on their site. I also like how they can appeal to any subject and people as myself who aren’t really intrigued to read magazine articles on a daily basis. But this digital personalized magazine is great; the only thing is I wish you could’ve showed us how to get to the website to find it or how students could actually use it. Better sound quality and videos might have helped further envelope and show the audience the great use of these websites.
Your attention grabber was very inventive and funny. I liked how I had to focus to hear what the narrator was saying in the first part as if it was being blocked out by all the surrounding noise that your personal magazines endeavor to remove. Your examples of how one could use the personal magazines was very detailed and specific. By providing the specific examples, like the biology class, I was able to think of other ways I could implement it in other class areas. Something I might suggest to change would be the resolution of the graphics in the video. Most of them looked like they might have been formatted to a smaller size and then were stretched on youtube. It might just be a crazy video format thing that is hard to fix. I might also suggest that instead of just using images throughout the presentation, that you flipped it up a little bit by adding something else, like a video or demonstration, to keep visual interest for the viewer. Great job.
You did a good job with this video. One of the things I like about your video is the speed of information. You really put it all out there and quickly just how people want their information these days. You also choose some great pictures and communicated well with clear language. The first thing I would change about the project is to remove some effects. Sometimes it felt like the effects were overwhelming making looking at some of the images difficult. I would also add some title and transition screens with a bit less picture and more open space to allow viewers eyes to adjust and relax from looking at so many images. Overall, this presentation could use a little work but it is a good video for a first try and presented some information I did not know about that I think everyone should be using!
I really liked how your video transitioned from example to example based on what you were explaining. I liked how you described all the educational uses for digital mags. The only thing I would have like to see was how you actually do it.
I really liked how you stated some examples of content areas and how to involve your magazine website into the classroom. You also did a great job of covering all the viewpoint toward this digital magazine, including students and teachers. This video was extremely short, and you did not name you video. When I was done, I did not even know the name of the website, becuase it jsut flashed by. You could've added videos, music, and otehr engaging components to the video as well.
Things I liked...
1. I really liked how you talked about integrating the digital magazine into the classroom. You not only discussed how it can help students, but also help teachers with classroom management, etc. Very cool.
2. I liked how you taught about how teachers can monitor what goes into the magazine. Thus ensuring students stay on topic.
Some constructive criticism...
1. The volume kept changing for me. That was kind of distracting, but not too big of a deal.
2. This may just be me, but I was kind of confused for the first minute as to what a digital magazine actually is. Maybe you could have been a little more clear about that. More examples would have probably helped.
You girls did a great job explaining the educational implications digital magazines have in the classroom setting. You also did a nice job informing the audience what exactly is a digital magazine, before this I had never heard of it and now I have a good idea of what it is.
My only constructive criticisms are: since the video was a bit short it would have been nice if you girls would have chosen one website and give a brief how-to on making your own digital magazine, just so we could get an idea. Also, maybe adding some music for transitions or better quality pictures would have spiced up the video a bit and give it more energy.
I liked how your explanations were very clear and straight to the point, and I loved how you used specific examples of how we can use digital magazines in the classroom. A couple things you could do to improve the video would be to add an engaging hook with either video clips or music. Also, it would be nice to see how to create a digital magazine, since I have no idea how to do that. Good job!
Sweet video! I thought the pace and and clarity of the narration was perfect and helped me to really follow and understand what you were talking about in the presentation. I also liked how many pictures you used to keep the content visually engaging while explaining about personalized digital magazines.
A couple points of constructive criticism: a lot of the pictures you used were sort of grainy which took away from the visual quality of the video. Using only high definition pictures would have been better. Also, some use of video rather than just pictures would have helped to make the presentation more informative and unique.
Nice job overall!
I enjoyed your video! I loved the introduction, I thought it was very engaging. I also thought you did a good job at explaining how the digital magazine can be used in the classroom. The specific project examples were great! One suggestion would be to show how to actually create a digital magazine and how to navigate the site. Another suggestion would be to change the audio, at times it was too low to hear or too loud. Overall, you guys did a great job!
I had no idea what a digital magazine was, so I think you both did a good job explaining what it is. I also think you did a good job explaining how it can be used in the classroom. However, I would have liked to see an actual site and also how to actually use it. The only other suggestion I have is that at times it was kind of hard to hear one of you, but overall I think you did a great job!
I really enjoyed your 5x7 presentation. One thing that I liked about your video was that it was very informative. I didn’t know anything about digital magazines before I watched your video, so I learned a lot. Another thing I liked about your video was the pictures you used throughout the video. They effectively illustrated your narrations.
One thing that could improve your video is a demonstration of how to use a digital magazine. Since so many people are unfamiliar with digital magazines, I think a demonstration would be extremely effective. Another thing that could improve your video is more information. While the video was informative, it seemed a little short. More information would add time to the video and further inform the viewer about digital magazines.
