You can use the first page of this task with this unit, but the second page is better used after/with Unit 2.5 (Subtraction within 100). A student must understand whole numbers and represent and use them in flexible ways, including relating, composing, and decomposing numbers. A student must be able to communicate mathematical reasoning using words, numbers and/or pictures.
