This is very good, all business. I came across a YouTube lesson that described how to find the square root using what was termed the division method that was intriguing. You might want to check them out (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uygB_3U9z9M and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TayKw7jaMi8&feature=related and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3i94NWF39nU). The method gives you the ability to find square roots of non-perfect quare numbers, even decimals. I tried it with even my struggling 7th graders and they were very successful with it.
