This resource has been contributed by Winpossible, and can also be accessed on their website by clicking here - Calculating equation of a line from slope and intercept
In this mini-lesson you'll learn how to calculate and determine equation of a line from its slope and intercept. The final form of equation of the line is known as the slope and intercept form, and may be already known to many learners. Generally speaking, if we know that a line has slope m and a y-intercept of (0, b), then the slope-intercept form of the equation of the line is y = mx + b.
