Calculating equation of a line from two points
In this mini-lesson we take a look at how to write the equation of a line passing through two given points. It also explains and graphs the equations of coordinate axes and equations of lines parallel to the coordinate axes. Generally speaking, the equation of a line parallel to x-axis is y = a, and that of a line parallel to y-axis is x = b.
