This is a good lesson for fourth and fifth-grade students to practice addition computation. The lesson plan explains the time-frame for each part of the lesson. Everything is provided except the "Hands-on" part of the lesson. There are not directions for this and no materials are provided. Otherwise, there is a presentation, tiered computation practice, problem solving, and an answer key. All activities are included in PDF form and Microsoft Word or Notebook. There is a "Mistake Busters" at the end which gets students to think about why several addition problems are incorrect. There is also a graphic organizer provided that gives students a format for rewriting addition computation problems vertically.
