This lesson will be completed in one or two class periods. The students must use all of their prior knowledge regarding budget planning and credit plans. This knowledge includes aspects such as understanding debt, loans, checking & saving accounts, salaries, etc. Group Size: Any Learning Objectives:
After completing this lesson, students will have created a one-year budget plan for a specific career path including expenses and construction of a credit plan for purchasing a major item. Guiding Question:

Briefly go over the lesson for the students. Tell them that they will be using all of the knowledge that they have gained throughout the year for this lesson. Tell them that they will randomly select a specific career path, and create a one-year budget plan that includes expenses and a credit plan for purchasing one major item.
2. Have them break off into groups of 2 and randomly choose a career out of a list that you already have prepared.
3. Have each group create a budget plan and post it as a google doc.
4. Have the groups look over each others plans, and comment on the google docs.
