How the usage of the TED Conferences is a great resource (a.k.a. Tool) for educational instructors.

I like that you walked the viewer through the whole thing, showing us where to go and how to actually use the source. This answers a lot of questions about how user friendly the source is. But I don't feel like I have a real understanding of what TED is from this video or how to best use it in a class. Is it basically just a commenting site that is divided up by topics? Also, I found the background music distracting and you might have been better off placing the history of the program in the middle of the video, after explaining what TED is.
I thought that this video was very good. I liked that you had a demo right from the beginning that showcased the TED website. I thought that the music was a good fit for this video. It might have been nice if there had been a "hook" at the beginning, or a few pictures on the information slides themselves. Great job!
I'm a huge fan of TED talks and their mission, though I would've liked to see you guys delve into more information about how it could be used in the classroom. I also found the background music to be a bit distracting, although I really like that song. All in all a successful video that fulfilled its purpose.
Great job on the video. I really loved the music, but it wasn't distracting. It was a good mellow for watching the screen shots. I love the idea of TED. Educational talks available to the public. I have actually been exposed to TED talks and I really enjoyed the lectures I watched. This is a great educational tool if students and teachers want to add more in depth material to the classroom. Great job.
Great job. The video accomplished its goal: That is, the video has inspired me to look further into the Ted website and seriously consider how Ted can be used as a tool to compliment my lesson plans. I enjoyed the thoroughness in which both of you explained what the website has to offer, and I thought that both of you did an excellent job on making the case for its use in the classroom. However, I wish the computer screen could have been larger so that I could read what was presented on the screen, and I wish that some of the slides would have stayed up a little longer so that I could have finished reading them.
I really liked your presentation. The only reason for not giving the presentation five stars is because the background music is distracting. I find myself listening to the music instead of you. The content is still really good and I liked that you showed us how to use TED. Good job =)
TED talks are the best! I liked your presentation, but I agree with some of the other comments that the background music was a little distracting. I think the tutorial was very useful, but sometimes the powerpoint was difficult to read fast enough. I think that teachers should definitely utilize TED talks.
I like TED talks and I think they are a useful tool to use in classrooms. You gave a lot of information about what TED talks are and what they do. A few issues I had were that there was sometimes a lot of words on the PowerPoint slides, so it was hard to read all that and listen to you speak at the same time. I also felt that there was a lot of time with just music and not much happening on the screen cast. It could have been better, I think, to just cut out those awkward moments or to add more dialogue or pictures.
The video was very good although I was lost in the beginning. I did not understand what TED was and I had to stop the video before moving on. But it was really good and I liked how you walked through the steps of the site.
You guys did a great job! I love how organized it was and how clear the audio sounded. I did think the music could have maybe been lowered while you guys were talking, and there some points where the long pauses with just scrolling seemed out of place.
Great Job Guys! I liked the music in the background and how you included the history of TED and not just how to incorporate it into lessons. For future imporvement, you could add a hook at the beginning and actually read or describe TEDs mission statement becasue it is hard to read in the video.
Great video! I like how you gave some background information on TED and gave great examples of how to use it and what it can be used for. While I like the idea of background music, I think that it maybe could have been turned down a little more when you were talking because it was hard to focus on what you were saying while the music was going. One thing you could have done if you still wanted to incorporate music maybe you music without words or mute it when you begin speaking.
I like that you added the history of TED, however some of the long pauses while you were typing or searching seemed out of place. The music playing in the back ground was a nice touch, I enjoyed it but I don't really know exactly what TED is or how it pertains to secondary education
