There are 3 documents attached: 1) a worksheet - print on paper or just write a few problems on the board 2) a template of 30-60-90 triangles (print out on transparencies) 3) a template of 45-45-90 triangles (print out on transparencies) Each student has one 45-45-90 triangle and one 30-60-90 triangle. The use the triangles on the axis on the worksheet to evaluate trig functions at multiples of 30 and multiples of 45 degrees (or multiples of pi/6 or pi/4). They're required to know the definition of trig functions at the angle alpha whose terminal side contains the point (x,y). The triangle template have 30 triangles per page, so not many transparencies are needed.
