The ability to distinguish fact from inference and to use data to draw a conclusion are two Intended Learning Outcomes (ILOs) taught in the biology curriculum. Students must be able to evaluate, predict, and apply data through the use of digital resources. Critical thinking, creativity, and contextual materials allow for students to apply their knowledge to real-world situations. This lesson will allow for students to practice using these essential skills while using a case study to solve a relevant issue related to human impact in the ecosystem.
