Lesson plan #4 Food Smarts: Analyzing Nutrition and Making Healthy Food Choices This is an adaptation of a lesson from the PBS Teachers website curriculum for health teachers.Students will verify and compile various forms of health information and products in order to gain the ability to access the nutritional value of foods. Culture, lifestyle and education affect the food choices students make every day. Students must arm themselves with the ability to read, understand and access the nutritional value of foods in order to make healthy food choices.
