In this section, you will be looking at graphs of the quadratic functions. The graph of the quadratic function is called a parabola and is typically a curved shape. As you might already know, a quadratic function is any polynomial of degree 2, e.g., x2
+ 2x + 3. You will notice in the graphs in this mini-lesson that one of the main points of a parabola is the vertex, which is the highest or the lowest point on the graph i.e. it is the maximum or the minimum point of a quadratic function.
