I just finished teaching a week-long class about "Bugs and Butterflies" to K-1 students. I wish I found this resource earlier as I think it is exceptional. I plan to integrate portions into the class next year. The unit is well-designed integrating aspects of anatomy, metamorphosis, and primary experimentation into a cohesive unit of instruction. Even though it is geared toward young learners, it approaches the study of insects in a scientifically sound manner.
