The Living Wax Museum is a multifaceted project. First, students researched a famous or historical person from Virginia History. Students then used this information to create biographical speeches. Next, each student prepared a costume to represent the person s/he was bringing to life. Then, each student’s speech was recorded. The recorded videos were uploaded into the Aurasma app website. Lastly, students filled in missing facts in a “Famous Virginian Mini Fact Book” (trading cards) by using the Samsung tablets and the Aurasma app.
