We have selected relevant material from MIT's introductory courses to support students as they study and educators as they teach the AP® Calculus curriculum. These do not comprise a full course of study but offer material to supplement the understanding of the AP Calculus curriculum.

Derivative as a Function covers the topics of analysis of curves; applications of derivatives, optimization: absolute & relative extrema; modeling rates of change; implicit differentiation & derivatives of inverse functions; derivative as a rate of change; geometric interpretation of differential equations; and L'Hospital's Rule using a mixture of lecture notes, practice problems, exam questions, textbook chapters, and java applets.
