This video was very funny and informative. I love how you both were entertaining. The beginning of the video was very funny. The video also contained great information to help one better understand Wii. A suggestion would be to add more graphics. Also another suggestion would be to show a Wii screen.
Fun video! The energy you both had made the video engaging to watch. I also really liked the variety of clips you used and the "Wii-like" music playing in the background while you were talking. I think the strongest part of the video was its energy. My only points of constructive criticism: I, too, would have liked more examples/visuals of how Wii could specifically be used in the classroom. For instance, maybe a clip of an actual Wii game, and then you could give an explanation of how that game could enhance learning. Just a thought. I also thought that some of your hand motions became a little distracting at times. Maybe a few text slides mixed in with the animated shots of yourselves would create a nice balance. Otherwise, great job!
Both of you girls were full of energy making it very engaging, and the video also provided some comedic relief (especially the accidents in the end). However, I would like to have seen an example (such as a video or pictures) of teachers using Wii in the classroom and show how to play it. Good job! :)
You were very entertaining!! I really enjoyed watching your presentation and I liked how you used motions to go along with what you were talking about. I also appreciated how you placed a link to more ideas about how to use the Wii into the video so it would be easier for me to learn more. I would have liked to see an example of someone using the Wii in the classroom or being shown how to play. Also, even though I enjoyed the clips about the downsides of using the Wii, maybe you could have also addressed other weaknesses other than accidents and mishaps. Overall you did a great job!
I love how active you guys were in the video just as if you were playing the Wii! It was a fun video, very informative, and also opened my eyes to its uses in the classroom with special games and currently the clicker. I would've liked to see an actual example of a teacher using it in the classroom or maybe just seen you guys actually use it and teach beginners how to play.
I really loved the piggy screaming "Wii" and then the cool Wii commercial that followed; really got me excited to watch more. Also, I was digging the outfits and energy both of you brought to the video... danceparty at the end got totally Cray. You would make great gameshow hosts! A couple points of constructive criticism: there could have been more examples of Wii as an educational device, I know they are probably scarce but that was an important aspect of the video. Also, I would have benefited from some text slides or visuals in explaining how Wii works, did love the predator scene though! Nice!
Marcie and BB, I loved your video! Dressing up and dancing made your video fun to watch and I loved the clips you added in , like the Predator scene and the Wii accidents montage. I liked how you thought of applications for the classroom and gave a link to Wii games. My suggestions for improving your video would be to have held the camera slightly higher so your shot was at a more direct angle instead of shooting from below, and I would have liked to see some more clips of the actual games that could be useful in the classroom. Great video overall!
I thought your video was really entertaining. You definitely brought enthusiasm and humor to the video. You did a good job explaining how the Wii works. You also integrated video clips well, but I think the Arnold Schwarzenegger video clip was a bit too long. At times the over-the-top speaking and outfits took away from what you were actually saying, but I like that your video was fun.
The two strongest points in this video were the comedy and enthusiasm. You also did a good job to incorporate some popular videos. My first issue with the video was the lack of a hands-on tutorial of getting started on the Wii. Second, I did not think the costume choices meshed with the style and idea behind the way. Overall, you did a good job at keeping me interested but I fell a little underwhelmed by the information.
I really enjoyed watching your video! I thought it was very entertaining with your enthusiasm and humor, especially the use of the different clips. I also thought you did a good job explaining the different components of Wii and how it works technically. One suggestion for your video would be to show an actual demonstration using the Wii. I would also suggest discussing more about the implications of using Wii for educational purposes in the classroom. Overall, great job!
I really liked how energetic and enthusiastic you two were about the topic, and I liked how you shoed how it could be used outside PE classes. My only suggestion would be that, even though it was entertaining, the intro was a little long and could have been divided or cut to get to the point quicker. Overall a great presentation though.
Good Job Guys. I like how you guys explained how wii can be used for alot of different purposes and I liked how you guys showed the bad side of the wii if not properly played. I do wish there was more wii examples of how to play it, but overall it was really good video.
Funny! And the video was able to hold my attention the entire time. Did a great job of explaining Wii. However, using the Wii in the classroom could have been emphasized a bit more and the video was a bit long. Good job!
I really loved your enthusiasm and entertaining video! I liked the variety of video clips you used and the video at the end was hilarious. I would have liked to see you both actually using a Wii. I understand this might not have been possible if you don't own one. I also would have like to actually see how it could be used in the classroom and specifically what programs could be used. However, I think you both made a great effort to convey your points.
Your video was really fun. The energy was great and your clips were cool. The clips could be shorter,it takes away from the video and it would have been cool if we could see the wii in action in a classroom.Great video
I thought the video was very funny. I loved the videos at the end that illustrated the downside to the Wii. I do think you guys could have shortened the explanation of the Wii, but overall, it was pretty good.
This was the most engaging video I've seen so far I like how active and in to the wii you guys were. I likes how you implemented other people playing the wii as well. The one thing I would have done different would be to actually demonstrate how to use the wii yourselves.
Your creativity and funny costumes/motions really kept the viewer entertained. Although, I kept wondering if there was going to be a relevance to the specific costumes. You also had some really good ideas of how the Wii could be used in the classroom (even if they were not yet existent). I like the idea of using it for clickers in the classroom. I can almost imagine a class where students move and mix stuff for chemistry using something similar to wiimotes. Something I might suggest would be to lessen the amount and length of fun/funny clips (especially the intro) in favor of using more informative clips such as you two playing a game in Wii or maybe showing how it could be used in the classroom. Also, it might have helped to have a wider variety of image types to intersperse with your information sections such as an image or representation of what you are talking about right after or while you are discussing it.
I really enjoyed your 5x7 presentation. One thing I really liked about your video was that it was very engaging. You did a great job incorporating comical gestures in your explanation of the Wii. I also enjoyed the video clips you used. They made your video very fun and entertaining to watch.
One thing that might improve your video is a demonstration of you two using the Wii. You discussed it in great detail and showed others using it in your video clips, but a demonstration of how to actually use the Wii and its features may help the viewer understand more about it. Another thing that could improve your video is some video clips from the games you discussed. For example, putting a brief video clip from the game “Big Brain Academy” in your video would really help the viewer understand its potential educational implications.
This was really great! I love how you added the videos into your presentation; very cool. I also really liked how enthusiastic you were. Your enthusiasm made me want to pay attention. My only complaint is that sometimes I didn't completely understand what you were talking about. Maybe text slides or pictures of what you were talking about would have made it more clear. Or examples of the educational gaming tools your were referring to. I did like how at the end you showed the downsides. I would have to say that you guys made the best video thus far. Good job!
I think you guys did a great video! It was so engaging throughout the entire thing, which is a huge plus. I also thought you gave a lot of good information, and made it easy to understand even for people who aren't very well-versed in the Wii world. I think the 2 things you could have done a little better was 1) show how the Wii works yourselves (but maybe you didn't have access to one), and 2) show teachers actually using it in the classroom. I think it was great though!! :)
