Nicely done ladies! I thought your video was very clear and concise. I feel like you became experts at YouTube and did a great job of walking us through YouTube. It was informative and very easy to follow. I also thing you did a good job of giving examples of how YouTube could be used in the classroom. I feel like that's the area where most of the videos are struggling, but I thought you covered it well. Just some other thoughts: I liked the video clip in the beginning, but I thought the resolution was a little low. A clearer video might have served you better. Also, if there's any way to zoom just a tad closer to the step-by-step YouTube section of your video; I think that could have made your video even better than it already was! :)
I loved the introduction to your video it was very engaging and entertaining! I think it was a good video and it touched everything needed including downsides to youtube. But you both chose YouTube! There is so much that you could of done to make it more entertaining like showing videos. A funny thought that came to mind was showing what people search for on YouTube in their spare time. You could of added a lot more music or actually creating a YouTube video. Good job though!
Great introduction, the music and montage of clips captivated my attention. You girls also explained very clearly how to use YouTube and its uses in education.
However, some more enthusiasm or energy could have been put into the video because I lost interest in it sometimes. Another constructive criticism is if you girls had more of a wrap-up in the end rather than just ending it there. Overall, good job! :)
Your presentation was very informative. You explained YouTube's features well, and I learned about some features that I didn't know were available, like how you can save a video to watch it later. I also liked your opening sequence to get me interested. However, it may have been a little too long for me because I started to lose focus during the string of video clips. Your video could also be improved by adding features such as video or music to keep the viewer entertained. You did a great job!
You did a great job putting together the beginning of your video! It was funny seeing videos I had seen over the years. I also liked how you showed people how to upload your own video! There were some moments where the viewer was waiting several seconds for the information. That made the video lose my attention sometimes. The video also was pretty short. There are so many ways to make the video more entertaining and by doing that making the video longer to meet the 7 minute requirement. Good Job!!
Hey awesome job! Your opening hook was really a great way to get my attention. The fast paced song a quickly changing video clips was hard to get distracted from. The rest of your video was really informative and I learned a lot about youtube. I have watched videos and posted a few but only for projects and stuff so this showed me a lot of stuff I should know considering youtube is so huge. The opening facts about the magnitude of youtube use in the beginning was also engaging in that it made me realize, "wow this is a huge deal"
A couple points of constructive criticism: I would have liked if you had zoomed up on the things you were clicking on and discussing during the instruction with the shot of the youtube webpage; it was kind of hard to see. Also, maybe some music or something to keep the instructional part a little more engaging would have been appreciated.
Overall nice job!
I really liked your video Megan and Melissa! I liked that you showed a walk-through of the site. Also, the montage at the beginning caught my attention and made me want to keep watching. My suggestions for improvement would be to define high def"" as high definition for those who are not familiar with the term. Also, I would add a closing line or something to transition to the end of the video, it seemed to end a little abruptly. Great video overall!
This video is a great guide to getting started with making your own account. I also appreciated the end of the video where you discuss the possible end of youtube and the struggles google is having with it.
I would suggest that put more character into your video to add more hook. Also, while the intro was interesting, I think that more consideration could have led to a stronger combination of youtube clips.
Overall, the presentation accomplished what you were aiming to do.
I enjoyed watching your video. I especially thought the intro was entertaining and was successful in getting my attention! I thought you guys did an excellent job navigating YouTube and demonstrating the different features it has to offer. Your video was very informing. One suggestion I would make is to zoom in on the buttons you were clicking on to make it easier for the viewer to see. Another suggestion would be to discuss more how YouTube can be used for educational purposes and where it is heading in education.
I really like the step-by-step way you went through the features, and I liked the ideas for ways to add Youtube to the classroom. I would suggest a bit more of a wrap-up at the end of the video, but that's all I can think of to suggest. Good job!
I liked how you guys explain how to use youtube clearly. I really liked the educational ways you guys provided about youtube. There is nothing I will really change about your video but sound quality.
Great video! Very informative and easy to follow the instructions. I would have liked for the video to be more attention grabbing throughout, the introduction was very nice. Also the ending of the video was a bit too abrupt, it would have been nice if it was more like the introduction.
I loved how you gave step by step information on how to make and post videos. It was very helpful and informational. I also liked how you told us all the ways students and teachers could use it. For constructive criticism, I think you could have showed some educational videos that people have made. Also, I think you could have added some background music. But I would refer someone to your video if I needed to explain to them how to use YouTube.
Very nice video. I liked how you took us through all of the steps of using Youtube. I do not think the video needs much improvement. You should have included a conclusion to wrap up everything.
Your video was extremely informative. I use youtube all the time, and I did not realize all the features it has until this video. I also enjoyed the section of the video, where it focused on how it could be used for educational purposes. A way to improve the video would be to make the introduction shorter. Also speaking a little louder would also help improve the video.
I thought this video was well done and did a good job of explaining how to use YouTube and its features. As much as we use YouTube I didn't know all that it has to offer. This gave me knowledge to get the most out of YouTube and I don't know what I would change or where it could be improved. Good job.
I must first say just how meta it was watching a youtube video about youtube. Good choice of project. But then I would also like to say that your introduction video was very eye catching and entertaining. It really got me to pay attention. You guys also did a very good job at providing the details of how the program you were using actually worked. I feel like rather than just an introduction to the product, this video was really a instruction and information video that I would use if I needed to understand how to use youtube, and even though I have had a youtube account for some years, I learned a few new tricks from watching your video. Something I might recommend would be adding something of visual interest throughout your video, or possibly something of audio interest (but not at the end). There were a few lapses in narration where there was a hesitation or a pause in speech. It might be better if you cropped out the hesitations and pauses so the viewer doesn't hear the background noise in the silence.
I really enjoyed your 5x7 presentation. One thing that I really liked about your video was your screencast showing the different features of Youtube. You did an excellent job highlighting all of the features of the website. I also enjoyed the pictures you used under your narrations. They were very entertaining and kept me engaged throughout the video.
Something that could improve your video is video clips. While the pictures were entertaining, video clips really engage the viewer and are effective ways to get a point across. Something else that could improve your video is more information. Your video seemed a little short, so adding more information would not only lengthen it, but also teach the viewer more things about the importance of Youtube.
Great job guys.
I really enjoyed the beginning clips of all of the popular Youtube videos- it definitely got my attention. I thought you did a great job of clearly explaining how to use Youtube, and also how to put videos on other sites such as facebook and blogs. Your video was easy to understand, which I think is a positive.
My two criticisms: 1. Maybe you could have added more information about Youtube and education. 2. As Jennifer mentioned, maybe you could have added video or music. I am saying this, but I have no idea how to do that lol... So I don't totally blame you! It's just the only other thing I could think of!
You guys really did a great job... It was a clear and entertaining video.
I thought you did a good job with this video! I thought you did a good job of taking us through the entire process, which made it beginner-friendly. I also really liked your intro. I thought it was a good hook, and funny to see a lot of videos that I have seen. The ending of the video was a little quick... Maybe you should have added a short conclusion or something? Also, I thought the video was great, but adding a little more enthusiasm to your voices could have made it more engaging (but I know that sometimes it's really awkward talking to a computer). Great job!
