A short quiz requiring students to distinguish Observations, Conclusions (Inferences), Questions, Predictions, and Factual Information. Answers and some discussion points are given. This can be used as a springboard to discussion of the differences in terms, observations, conclusions, questions, predictions, and factual information.
This resource was reviewed using the Curriki Review rubric and received an overall Curriki Review System rating of 3, as of 2012-12-02.
I do believe that this short quiz is a great way to assess prior knowledge, to get a quick check on student understanding of these words/concepts and to see if they can apply
them or distinguish between them in sentences.
Great jumping off point for further discussion.
