This lesson is primarily based on a class simulation of the actual legislative process, with students participating in and acting out the process in the context of our classroom (they will be creating and potentially passing bills that directly pertain to the class or school). Reasoning: I chose simulation because I think it a very meaningful, student-centered, hands-on method of instruction that allows students to get a good understanding of the material through independent research, group participation and discovery.
