The graphics were my favorite part of this video, it was very easy to follow and very appealing to the eye. Also, I like the consistency of the speaker throughout the presentation.
On the other hand, I would improve the quality of the video at times. Sometimes certain things throughout the video were difficult to see such as the search bar. Also, it would have been important to note the exclusivity of Pinterest and how it might take a while before you get invited to be a member.
Overall, great job!
Great job ! I really enjoyed the graphics; they were simple and colorful which kept me engaged throughout the entire video. In addition, it was so easy to follow which made it a great resource.
However, I couldn't see anything when you guys started talking about the search bar. Maybe bigger search bar and sharpie??
Great job making your presentation fun and engaging. It was clear that you spent a lot of time putting it together. Really liked the pictures you used and your sentences/sound were very clear. A couple suggestions would have been to darken the writing in the search box so viewers can see it clearly and to mention that you need an account that takes a little while to be approved.
I think this video is so cute! It took a lot of thought to include all of the pictures you used. I wish all instructional videos were like this because it was so great.
I don't really have any ways to improve it - maybe use more examples of social book marking other than pinterest, or add music, or even use more examples of its usefulness for things other than dessert.
I really really liked y'alls 5x7! It was a great visual representation and it formed a clear understanding of the concept of social bookmarking. The two criticisms would be that it only showed one example of a social bookingmarking site (pinterest) and the information was presented very fast.
This was an awesome video. Not only was the quality great, it was short and sweet. As a viewer, I would be able to pay attention to the whole thing without zoning out. The only critique to this project is the fact that it only focused on Pinterest. I agree that it should have featured other sites. Also, I enjoy music playing in the background. It helps to keep me in the mood.
I thought they did a great job on the graphics! It was really colorful and easy to follow along. I also liked that just one person talked and the sound was consistent throughout the presentation. One thing I would improve is that the search bar was really hazy, I couldn't really see what they were writing. I would also add a note that you have to request membership to pinterest and it takes about a week or so to be added so if you were going to use this in the classroom you would need to make an account a few week in advance.
Even though the video was shorter than others, I think it was very effective. I loved the concept of having cut-outs and moving them around because it made the video more exciting. Pinterest is a great up-and-coming online social networking site, but I wanted to know how it's more than just a fad and will last beyond the pinning fad. I think talking about how people can fine and follow each other would help as well.
I LOVED THIS VIDEO!!! It was so fun and entertaining! I thought the pictures made it really easy to understand and liked that you spelled out 7 specific aspects you wanted us to know. The examples you used were funny and relatable. The video really shows how hard you worked.
I thought the swiping sounds could have matched better with your hand movements; they were off at times. I also thought adding music would have taken the video to the next level and made it even more engaging.
Great job ladies!
Definitely enjoyed this video! I loved how you guys were creative with using cut out words, numbers, etc to bring forth the ideas that you were talking about. The visual aids were awesome and the concept of social bookmarking was understandable. Two criticisms would be the cut out of the websites you used as examples (they were very hard to read) and to probably zoom in to what what you were writing in the search bar. Overall, great Job!
I really enjoyed watching this video. I liked the creativity with the cutouts as well as how it was very interactive and stayed interesting the entire time. Two criticisms are that it was too fast and I think screen casting the website instead of having a cutout would have been better. Overall, it was a great video and extremely creative.
Okay, so I happened to LOVE the video! It reminded me of one of those videos where people write on the whiteboard as they talk about things and add on to pictures as they draw. It was colorful and very creative. The video flowed well with the instructions; it was too fast or too slow. The only thing was that it was hard to see what you were writing on the search bar; it might have been better if you used a black marker or a bigger search bar. Also, it would have been better if you introduced the video with a little music. Other than that, I loved it!
One word: creative! This film was by far one of the most unique videos I've seen. The subtle humor along with the unique format made this a very solid tutorial. It was consistent, entertaining and very easy to follow. At first, I thought that the film was going to drag on without any screencast or video editing but you proved me wrong and was actually one of the quickest videos I've seen!
However, I feel that the conclusion could have been more solid with some type of interesting fact or other social bookmarking websites to look for. The other thing I would note is for a longer video because you didn't reach the 4 min limit and there were somethings you probably could have touched on. Other than that, I have very few critiques and I loved this film overall!
I think you both did a great job! I really liked all of the different pictures and cut outs that you used. It kept my attention throughout the whole video. Also I liked you examples of how you can use it in the classroom. I have never thought about using it to do a project, or teachers pinning different resources they can use. The only thing I would change is I would have used an actual screen shot of the website to explain it. I think I would be a little confused if I tried to use the website.
LOVED THE GRAPHICS! Everything was so colorful and bright, and the fast movements made it interesting to watch. I loved all the creative graphics and interesting ways to spice up the presentation...such as the toolbar and cookbook part. I thought the speaking in the background was enthusiastic and clear to understand. Overall very cute presentation! You used really good examples of how social bookmarking can be used, and I really liked the specific focus on how a teacher can use pinterest. I didn't really think your project needed much improvement, maybe it would have been cool to do a screencast at the end to see pinterest and explain how to maneuver around the site. The only problem I had was that it was the same idea/example as the one we saw in class so that sort of takes away from the creativity aspect. However, in the end the two presentations were very different and I personally liked yours better because it was more appealing to the eye and easier to follow with all the great examples.
This is one of my favorite videos yet! I love that you use an example to explain the concept of social bookmarking. The filming was also really interesting, I love the paper cut out concept. Great job!
The only criticism I have to offer is that while the video explained the concept of social bookmarking, its still not something I would understand how to use. Adding some kind of tutorial would improve this video.
I found it really interesting how you put the video together with the use of your hands and cutouts. It was also easy to stay interested in the video because of the constant changing from point to point.
If you would have included actual videos of the websites along side the motions of the video it would have strengthened everything. Also the video felt a little rushed with all the points you make because I was left wanting to know more.
A great video to watch none the less.
I LOVE your video! The use of paper pictures was creative and engaging. It was very clear to follow and your examples were great. As for suggestions, maybe adding another example of pinterest in the classroom to focus on the 'technology in the classroom' aspect would be useful. I would also try to make the video longer but another classroom example could help with that. Overall very creative and informative!
I really liked the energy in this video! The graphics were also very colorful and eye catching with the black background. I think it would have be nice to add another example for education other than pinterest. Also it would be good to explain more in depth how social booking educational value for students and teachers to learn.
