Through the generous support of the Hearst Foundation, Curriki has engaged six distinguished proponents of the OER movement to collaboratively create the preeminent course on Open Educational Resources. This, the first module of the course, was created by an elite group of university professors who work with in-service or pre-service teachers to integrate OER into their curriculum and instruction, methodologies or instructional design courses. While the module is suitable for professors to use to instruct pre-service teachers, teaching working in the field will also see great benefit from these materials. The resources contained within the this module are five units on the topic of OER. Each unit spans between 2 and 4 weeks length of time. It should be noted that the materials within this collection can stand alone, or be used out of sequence. A forthcoming "second phase" will be sequenced chapters written by the same illustrious team.
