This resource consists of a 90 nuts and bolts questions on a practice final exam for elementary algebra students at San Diego City College, and video solutions to each of the questions. Closed captioned videos are available. The practice final (or a portion of it) could be distributed to students by any elementary algebra instructor. The instructor could then refer student to the solutions online. This might be particularly useful for online students.
Background.: San Diego City College requires that students earn a minimal score of 36/60 on a required departmental exam in order to be eligible to pass the class. The Math Department provides a sample final exam to students so they can prepare adequately. The videos were created to service students.
