This four part resource provides a study guide to Number the Stars, an integrated technology template to help students learn about WWII in Great Britain, a mini unit on Children of the Holocaust, designed for students to read Holocaust stories, and a bibliography of other texts about that era. Each part of this resource is a strong study guide. The first is an in depth guide to Number the Stars, Lois Lowry (the author), comprehension activities, and vocabulary and discussion questions. The second and third lessons ask students to research the life of children in Great Britain during WWII. Students are then asked to create multimedia projects showing what they learned and write personal narratives simulating their potential experiences. Rubrics are included, as well as clear guiding questions and outside links. The final annotated bibliography is strong.
