Teach with Web 2.0 has a list of many technology resources for your classroom.
The term Web 2.0 usually refers to web applications that facilitate collaboration and information sharing on the web. The term "Read Write Web" is often used in interchangeably with Web 2.0. Examples of Web 2.0 include social networking sites such as Twitter and Facebook, blogs, wikis, video sharing sites such as YouTube, web applications such as GoogleDocs, mashups that allow users to combine different types of media into a new product, and cloud computing. There are hundreds of free applications on the web that allow users to communicate and collaborate. Some are much better than others and they are changing daily. Most of the applications listed have designated education accounts that are separate from the commercial product but some are accessible to anyone without teacher or staff moderators. Please evaluate the content that may be viewed by students before assigning them or using them with students. Some content may not be appropriate for all students.
