To end the trimester I wanted to give my students a chance to use the things we have learned in a way that was fun for them but also gave me the ability to assess their ability to take what we have learned and use it. This project consists of the students using learned vocabulary, Total Physical Response actions, and a few props to re-enact the story Where the Wild Things Are.Kindergarten has spent two-thirds of the trimester learning about commands, feelings, and months of the year and two weeks learning vocabulary specific to the story (cena, rey, monstruos, etc). This document contains a TPRStorytelling script that I designed to encompass the much vocab learned this trimester, vocab, prop, and TPR actions lists, and two rubrics: one for Project Practice and one for the Project itself.
