Good job girls! I think the strongest aspect of your video was the explanation of how to set up a WordPress. You were very thorough; that was great. I also really enjoyed the skit in the beginning. It was very believable and made me curious. To improve your video, I, too, would suggest altering the audio. Although the WordPress explanation was great, adding a little energy to it could make it even better. If the audio were better I would suggest maybe adding some light music in the background to that part. Otherwise, nicely done!
The video was very informative--I never knew about Wordpress before this video. I really liked how you gave a very thorough tutorial on how to sign up for Wordpress and use it. The skit in the beginning was a good touch. The volume/sound was very bad I had a really hard time understanding you two. Also, it could have been a bit more engaging--perhaps adding another skit or two.
Wordpress? What is that? You guys taught me a whole new world of blogging that I did not know about and showed not only the basics but really went in depth on how to create an account, make a blog with a theme, how to add a new post, Wordpresses', accessibility, and the uses for the classroom through Scholarpress and Buddypress. Also, I found it very helpful for students when you included how Wordpress can help students network and find a job. Two suggestions I would make is definitely improve the sound quality and add some hooks before introducting a new instruction to captivate the audience. Overall great project, I learned a lot!
I liked how you showed a situation that happens in a classroom at the beginning and how it can be fixed using word press. I also like how you walk trough how to use word-press in detail. I want to use it now! I do think you guys should have fixed the audio. It's soo had to understand you. The video also needs an entertaining substance added to the video. Good job!
Great job with the project girls! I always love a bit of acting, and you didn't disappoint with the hook in this video. I could feel Sasha's disgust with no one seeing her work, and Jennifer's satisfaction with sharing her's with the world. I especially liked your section on how to use WordPress in an educational setting, since that is what is most relevant to us as future teachers!
A couple points of constructive criticism: the sound quality could be improved. I struggled to understand what was being said sometimes. Also, a little something to spice of up the dryer parts of instruction would have been cool, maybe some music...or even more acting haha!
Great job overall though! Thanks for the info!
i liked your video. The intro was engaging and interesting and made me want to keep watching. I would improve the sound quality, and maybe have gone back to your skit to continue the idea or to wrap up your video.
I liked the little skit at the beginning. It was a nice way to open the video. You did a good job of explaining Wordpress, but the poor sound quality was pretty distracting. Sometimes it was hard to hear what was being said. Overall, you did a good job.
Your video is very informative and easy to understand. The skit in the beginning made me wonder what was coming next and was a good hook.
One thing that could use revision is the sound. It seems like you just didn't have very good microphones unfortunately. Another consideration is to add a bit more engagement to the video. The beginning drew me in but then it just kind of lulled.
Overall, your project informed about a new technology tool and prepared the viewers to use it themselves.
Good job! I enjoyed the beginning skit that demonstrates why WordPress would be helpful for a student. I thought you did an excellent job navigating WordPress and showing viewers how to create one and use it. You also did a good job explaining the different uses for WordPress in the classroom, it seems like it is very beneficial in education.
One suggestion I would make is to change the audio, it was difficult to understand what you were saying throughout most of the video. Another suggestion would be to add more engaging features to your video such as graphics or music. But overall, I liked it!
I like how you explored the features that let people personalize their blogs, and how you talked about the mobile apps, which may be something students would be interested in. The biggest suggestion I could make would be to fix the audio quality, which was a bit hard to hear. Also, the transitions were a littel bland,so adding music or examples when transitioning from one topic to the other might be a good way to spice it up.
I liked how you explain the video in detail about how to use it and I also liked how you explained how useful it was throughout the world. The sound was a little distracting. Overall great video
Great job of showing how to use WordPress and explaining the purpose of it through the skit. The sound was off, it was hard to listen to you guys because the sound was so compromised. The video itself was great, though some more engagement would have been great as well.
I liked how informative your video was! I feel like I can easily figure out how to use wordpress now. I also liked your skit at the beginning, you did a good job! For a suggestion, I would try to fix the audio because it was really hard to hear and understand. Also, I would try to make it a little more engaging and entertaining for the audience, but overall I think you did a great job!
You did a great job on the introduction. However, the sound quality was not that great so I could hardly understand what you said in some places. Overall, the video did a good job of explaining what wordpress is.
I like the skit you had in the start of the video to show how WordPress is relevant in the classroom. You did a great job explaining WordPress, and made navigating and using it seem simple. My only complaint is i sometimes had to go back a few seconds to hear a direction again because the audio was a bit to low.
I enjoyed the skit. It was a great introuduction for the video. I also liked how the video clearly took the viewer step by step on how to use WordPress. If an individual has never used it WordPress, your video is a great tutorial. One of the ways the video could be improved is for the voiceover to be louder. Also the video could be improved by adding some music as the screen transitions to the next point.
The strong point of this video is definitely the skit it helps open up Wordpress. I learned apt from just the video so the information was very good. Inwas also distracted by the sound too. That's all I would try to fix.
Your video was very informative and provided relevant and useful info for actually using wordpress. Also, your transitions and formatting appeared to be of professional quality. I also liked how you two made this video relevant to us as college students and future employees with the intro and the example provided in the video. Your voice-over was a bit hard to discern over the feedback and reverb and was surprising given the clarity of the introduction video. I might suggest mixing up your video a bit by adding something of visual or audio interest to break up the instructions in the video, such as an example or demonstration during the screener.
I really enjoyed your 5x7 presentation. Your video was very informative. Your screencasts and narrations did an excellent job of explaining how WordPress works. I also enjoyed the example you used regarding how WordPress can be used in the classroom. It was very informative and gave me a clear idea of how teachers could effectively use WordPress in the classroom.
One thing that could improve your video is clearer narrations. It was a little hard to hear you sometimes in the video, which made it difficult at times to understand what you were doing. Another thing that could improve your video is more video clips, graphics, and music. While your video was very informative, adding some of these things would make it more engaging and entertaining for the viewer.
Great job! First of all, I really enjoyed the beginning video. I had never heard of WordPress before so I appreciate that you chose a technological tool that is less commonly used. I liked how you showed how you can add WordPress to other forms of technology, such as our phone. I also really liked how you related WordPress to your own experiences in the classroom-- very cool!
My only criticisms are that 1. Your audio was difficult to hear at times. 2. You also could have made the video a little more engaging. In one breadth I appreciated how informative it was, but in another breadth I had a difficult time paying attention.
I really liked the skit at the beginning. Right away you were proving why wordpress was useful. I also thought the transitions were VERY smooth, which adds a professional touch to your video. Two things that could have been improved would be 1) the sound was a little off... It kept going in and out and was kind of hard to understand in some sections, and 2) the skit at the beginning was great, but it seems like you could have added a few more hooks to keep your audience's attention. Great work though!
