John M. Grillos is deeply engaged in financing activities for the e-learning and information technology industry and has more than 30 years of technology-related experience in both operating and investment roles. As a member of Curriki's Board of Directors, Grillos will help support the company's goal of delivering global access to knowledge. Grillos currently serves as Chairman and CEO of WorldSage LLC, a startup he founded as the first large private European post secondary education system. He also serves as Chairman of Transware PLC, managing an investment made by Trident Capital, overseeing all M&A activities. Earlier in his career, Grillos held various leadership positions within the information technology investment community at companies such as MVC Capital, ITech Partners, SoundView Financial Group and Robertson, Stephens & Co. Grillos received his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the Illinois Institute of Technology, and holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago.
