    This is an excellent resource that can be used with a variety of topics in any Social Studies class. The handout provides directions to students on how to write a reaction to an article. It includes both fact-based and critical thinking questions which encourage the students to form opinions on the topic. There is also a rubric for grading the assignment which can be a useful tool for both students and teachers.
