Lunar cycles: Earth glow
Description:View planet Earth from the near side of the Moon. Use a model to investigate Earth’s appearance from different positions in the Moon’s orbit. Notice that Earth reflects sunlight in phases similar to the Moon phases seen from Earth. Answer a series of questions by experimenting with the model. For example, position the Moon so that you see a 'full Earth' (maximum reflection of sunlight). This learning object is one in a series of four objects.

Global Temperature Simulator
Description:This a Flash graphing simulation. You control the amount of solar radiation and the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. You then see the estimated heat loss, net forcing and resulting temperature change. This is a very simplistic model but is useful to teach about the inputs, outputs and temperature equilibria.
