Panwapa Community Citizenry Project Collection

Panwapa Profile (Community Citizenry Project Worksheet)

Panwapa is a program designed to teach young children about other cultures and how to be a part of the global community. Global citizenry begins with a connection to your own community. Understanding, investigating and connecting with your community is the first step in engaging with the larger world. The concept of the “wider world” is more concrete and realistic for kids who have a deeper understanding of the way they fit into their immediate world. This worksheet serves as a "profile." Using this profile, Panwapa kids describe themselves and what makes them unique, so they can meet other Panwapa kids and appreciate their similarities, and their differences.
