Panwapa's Video Collection
Description:
Panwapa begins with our characters—featuring Azibo, the monster, Tungar the Tiger and many more—and their stories about how they learn to build a community on Panwapa Island. In this section, there are four stories (each approximately 8 minutes long), all designed to introduce and model skills needed for global citizenship. Following each story are a series of questions that you can use to stimulate a discussion with your students. This is a great way to introduce the imaginative world of Panwapa (go to www.panwapa.com for more Panwapa resources) designed to inspire and empower young children to become responsible global citizens.

Panwapa Baa to the Sun, Sing to the Moon
Description:A sleepy Azibo is awakened by Baabra and her lambs as they say baa loudly to the sun. It's their family tradition; they baa to the sun weekly to say thanks for arriving safely on Panwapa. But they're keeping Azibo awake! That night, the rest of the Panwapa group has their weekly sing-along, while Baabra's lambs try to rest. How can everybody sleep and still respect one another's traditions?

Panwapa Snow Story
Description:The island is in the path of a snowstorm, and everyone rushes to protect homes and belongings. Each friend tries to do the job separately but can't accomplish much on his or her own. So Azibo calls a group meeting and suggests that they work together. They do--then they ride out the storm, cosy in Tungar's cave.
