Shape the World Lesson Accelerator
Description:Description Students will collect photos that show examples of different geometric shapes as found in nature. They will bring these photos into Photoshop Elements 6 and create "spotlight" and "shape" mats to focus on the area of the photograph that contains the shape. Final images will be exported from PSE brought into a new Premiere Elements project. In Premiere, the student will add a music file and their images to the video timeline. They will learn how to adjust the duration and opacity of the images to create the effect of overlaying the original image with the spotlight and shape images. They will learn how to add an opening title, transitions, and opening and closing fades to their video. Finally, they will export their video in a format that can be shared with others. Goals To provide students with the opportunity to use software tools for building a creative multimedia presentation about a subject they have been researching and/or studying.
