For our 2009 Summer of Content initiative, Curriki solicited grant applications from our community for elementary and middle school content in ELA, math, science, and social studies.
To qualify for funding, projects needed to meet the following requirements:
- Provide or develop comprehensive resources for
substantial units of study. - Develop or post open source curriculum in an area of need.
- Deliver all content resources as open source so they may be used and developed further by a broad community.
- Use best practices in pedagogy and instructional design.
We received a record number of applications this year! From that pool, we selected nineteen grantees. Below is the list of winners, along with some information about the content they've contributed.
To learn more about the grantees, click on their names to go to their My Curriki profiles. To view their content, click on the title of their unit (example: "The Personal Narrative.")
