Groups can be open (available to any Curriki member) or closed (available only to invited Curriki members). It is possible within a group to make some content publicly viewable -- useful for non-member students and parents -- and other content -- like lesson plans or assessments -- private and viewable only by other group members. Non-curricular documentation, like memos or forms, is shared on the Documentation tab in the group and members could message one another by using the Messages tab. In a closed group, both the Documentation tab and the Messages tab are available only to group members.

This section contains links to important documents for you to download and distribute to parents, teachers, and other staff members.
- District Emergency Policy (PDF)
- Lesson Plan Template (DOC)
- Student Absence Form (DOC)
- Letter to Parents (PDF)
Upload your resources to share with a substitute or the parents of an absent student. In addition to common file types -- MS Word, Open Office, presentation documents and PDF -- and wiki or HTML text documents created on Curriki, you can record videos directly from your computer (a webcam is required) that will stream from Curriki. This is a great way to model a lesson or provide pre-recorded direct instruction.

As well as sharing your content on Curriki, you can augment your existing curriculum with activities, readings, exercises, multimedia presentations, and worksheets from the thousands of learning resources that exist within the Curriki repository. This could be useful during unexpected absences, and would also allow other teachers to assist in time of an emergency.
