Creative Educators Using LodeStar
The Creative Educators Using LodeStar group is dedicated to the authoring of rich, interactive learning resources in support of online teaching and learning. Creative Educators use LodeStar, an eLearning authoring tool, to create branched instruction, presentations, timelines, games, webquests, mash-ups, eBooks and more. This site will support discussions between LodeStar authors, foster collaboration and provide support to creative educators using LodeStar and contributing to Curriki.
Welcome
Welcome to the Creative Educators site. Until now educators using the LodeStar Authoring tool from LodeStar Learning (www.LodeStarLearning.com) have published to learning management systems like Moodle, Desire2Learn, Microsoft Sharepoint Learning Kit, Microsoft Class Server, Blackboard, WebCT and others. LodeStar learning objects that sit in learning management systems are not viewable or usable by the general public due to security restrictions.
This site encourages LodeStar authors to contribute their work to Curriki and enable instructors and students all over the world to benefit from their work. This site is created in the spirit of open collaboration, contribution and, in a sense, continuous improvement. We'll learn from each other's contributions and LodeStar Learning will gain valueable insight into how we can support teachers in the near future.
