I hail from Newcastle, England and primarily teach educational technology courses at West Chester University. I am a former professional soccer player and a graduate of Penn State University with a Ph.D. in Curriculum & Instruction.
In 2007 I became an Apple Distinguished Educator and in 2009 a Google Certified Teacher. My efforts in teaching and research have the focus of technology integration into education. In my most recent research project, we embarking on an e-reader pilot program using the Kindle DX electronic reader. The goal of the pilot is to determine if the convenience and features of a e-reader are more useful than the physical qualities of a print book?
Outside of teaching, research and service I enjoy spending quality time with my beautiful wife and three young boys.
I teach middle school technology and also work for Curriki. This group is perfect for my personal interests and professional growth!
