OERi - Open Educational Resources integration
Welcome
Our charge is as follows:
Goal:
Curriki believes that teachers at colleges of education are an excellent target audience for the OER movement. These individuals are largely from a generation who is more comfortable using technology resources and has an awareness of open source content and content sharing via the internet. Furthermore, if teachers are introduced to OER at an early stage in their career, they will be more likely to incorporate these resources into their teaching practice. By working with professors of education, Curriki can ensure that individuals with a knowledge of student needs and interests, curricular design and the OER movement will create courses that address the learning needs of pre-service and in-service teachers.
Outcome:
The final product of this project is three parts (though not all of the professors have to participate in each part of the project).
