Urban Studies
With ever more people moving into urban areas, it is essential for students everywhere to have an understanding of the history, growth and development of cities. Urban Studies will explore the benefits and challenges of teaching students about the histories, cultures, structures/designs, systems and functions of cities, as well as the relationship between cities, suburbs and rural areas. Though this group will likely focus on K-12 education, it welcomes educators of all disciplines and ages and backgrounds.
