The Danger of Being Endangered
|
|
This adaptable webquest was written for use with 5th grade students. Students are divided into groups of four and assigned an endangered animal species to study. After students complete their individual work they will come together as a group to study ways to protect all four of their animals. Students will assume one of four clearly defined responsibilities – researcher, zoologist, wildlife activist, and citizen – to examine the role of these animals from different perspectives. A basic presentation rubric is included for suggested assessment.
