This is the first unit in a four-unit curriculum designed for Novice-mid to Novice-high sixth graders who began their study of Spanish in kindergarten or first grade. It is currently being field tested.
The themes of the unit are food, health, and nutrition. Many of the lessons deal with the foods and customs of the Day of the Dead celebration in Mexico.
