Curriki is the leading K-12 global community for educators, students, and parents to create, share, and find free and open curricula that improve both teacher effectiveness and student outcomes.
I have Curriki, where I can find all kinds of desired materials. Also, it makes it easy for me to choose the topic, plan the lesson, design the activities, and prepare materials. In some cases, I use exactly the same materials and lesson plan found in Curriki. It was very helpful for me as well as to the students… For me, Curriki is the best source to solve every problem that appears during the time of teaching and learning.

Students also have used resources from Curriki to help them in the writing process. Thank you for all you provide for the students. Many of my students are nonreaders and non-writers. We have to help them to complete these class books. One parent brought her daughter to school late and told me I could just have her. She said she got those books out and was looking at what all her friends had been doing and demanded to come to school even though she did not feel good. I told her I would surely take care of her for the day.

Curriki has helped me out because I get ideas and lesson plans, I can use the lesson plan as is, as it is complete, or I can modify it to suit my classes.

Never before has Biology been so accessible to students, as with the current use of digital media and through independent research. I teach AP Biology to Juniors and Seniors at Curtis High School. Quite often, Curriki has helped me achieve my goals with my students by giving them excellent visuals and resources to explore!

My story relates to my work with Student Teachers. I am an Instructional Technology Coordinator for the Office of Teacher Education Services with the University of Texas at San Antonio. My job entails familiarizing the students in our Teacher Preparation Program with Technology Applications they can use in their future classroom. Curriki provides a wealth of resources indexed by several searchable tags. The students love the site! They are our “baby teachers” in search of resources to engage their students. When introduced to the Curriki site they are often overwhelmed by the diversity of topics. They love the ease with which they can locate by content area. They hunger for more Standards Aligned resources to use with their lesson plans. Curriki proves a rich collection of cross curricular materials easily integrated with the adopted state curriculum. Thank you.

Curriki has provided an open source platform for me to learn from experts and grow professionally at my own rate. I do not have to spend hundreds of dollars on conferences that sometimes make me feel imprisoned, but instead I can “vote with my hands” by accessing content that I desire and maximize my learning time. What I do in my class for students has become a deeper burning desire for me to share with kids everywhere. As a 10th and 11th grade Language Arts teacher, I want kids to enjoy reading, writing, listening and speaking with peers, colleagues, business professionals, and community leaders because their voice is GOLDEN and what they have to say matters.

I’m a former LA Times reporter, current children’s book author, and now a home school mom. Really appreciate what you’re doing…I just wanted to say I’m so encouraged by what you’re doing. We never buy textbooks. We love Khan Academy and of course all the great educational material to be gained via PBS.org, TedTalks, etc. etc. I’ll be passing along the word about Curriki! Thanks for doing what you do!

Hi: my name is Paula, I’m the mother of 4 children of 5, 10, 13 and 14.This year we decided to start with education at home, it has been a challenging experience but rewarding at the same time. Here in Chile, there are no educational materials for use at home, so one must create material for each child. It is difficult, if you do not have professional guidance. I got myself educational plans and started looking on the internet to help my children and found Curriki. Curriki has been of great help with my children for school because there is a structure to lesson plans and class material is available to them. I thank you for your help and more friends who home-school children will visit your site also.

Curriki is the place where my son and I go to learn math together, simply because it is so much fun.

My father bought this laptop in 2009. My mom subscribed to Curriki to help me study and from that day on, I was fully busy with Curriki book reading. My mom said, “stop it now, Sanika! Stop it Sanika!” but I didn’t stop. I opened many sites, stories, and newsletters and one day I got a most interesting book that was called “SOLAR STUDENT.” It taught us how the earth rotates around the sun, how the moon rotates around earth. In this way Curriki helped me very much. It is very, very, very nice. Because of it I scored 20 out of 20 in math.

I was having trouble with Geometry. My teacher could not seem to help me so I went to Curriki. I found a lot of great courses on Geometry which I took and ended up getting an A in the class! Now I am using it to help me with many of my courses!

Curriki has helped in a lot of things but I cannot write all of them because I have limited words. Curriki has helped me with extra materials which helped me in my exam. Curriki has helped me in improving my learning skills instead of depending only on textbooks and school notes. Curriki has helped me with homework, tests and projects. In summary Curriki has helped me with a wide range of educational resources and I will also like to thank Curriki for being a non profit organisation which makes me as a student feel like I have seen an organisation that understands people and wants to enhance their knowledge for free.

Personally, I really respect the Curriki address in online website. It has helped me to improve my skill ability in Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing. I am a student in English Department, actually have already studied the English in middle level. I have learned about skill ability, but I didn’t understand whether the teacher has given me more knowledge, skill, and especially smarts. Because, I realize that I don’t know all of English. I don’t know how to speak English well, I don’t know how to pronounce English words, I don’t know how to listen well and I don’t know how to improve all of them. Oh God, help me!!! I am really jealous when I see some of my friends in class know all of the skill ability. Oh no…what I must do? I have a big motivation since that day. I search the website on line and I download all of videos, material, sounds, etc. But, you know, luckily, I found this web site (www.curriki.org), and I search all of expertise of this website. And I really convey the big thanks to Curriki, this website really help me.

My name is Annie and I wanted to drop in to let you know that your site has some really great content! It isn’t often that a site produces genuine unique content rather than just something to fill the void.
