Marlin Jeffers is an educational consultant at Northwest Area Education Agency in Sioux City, Iowa. For the past fourteen years he has provided schools of Northwest Iowa with professional development and consultative services in the areas of: classroom management, mentoring induction, personality styles, learning supports as well as reading and music instruction and assessment. Prior to coming to Northwest Area Education Agency he taught for seventeen years most recently at Woodbury Central Community School in Moville, IA where is taught music, middle school reading and was the curriculum coordinator. He also presents at national, state and regional conferences in many areas. He continues to teach general education and music education classes for the Iowa State Education Association Professional Development Academy, Morningside College and Western Iowa Tech Community College. Marlin has a Bachelor of Music Education from Morningside College and a Master of Music from the University of South Dakota. Marlin is married to Gayle Jeffers a French teacher for Millard Public School in Omaha, Nebraska. They have five children and seven grandchildren
