Description:

A follow-up to the previous lesson. This is designed to help students make sense of why they can sometimes find a rate simply by dividing, but other times they need to use the slope formula (subtracting before dividing). Culminates the class distinguishing between "proportional" situations and other "linear" situations. SEE NOTES at the bottom of each slide for tips on how to use the presentation with a class.
