Description:

This educator's guide with activities for younger students is intended to focus on activities about the International Space Station (ISS) and the role rockets play in its construction. The guide uses these topics as the basis for activities in science, math, technology, and language arts. Students begin by sharing their knowledge of ISS, identify the station and other rockets as objects in the sky built by humans, and proceed through a number of rocket-oriented activities, culminating with a review the uses the concepts of fact and fiction. The guide also includes a set of graphics intended to accompany the activities, and a glossary of terms and acronyms.
