Description:

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) has created A Guide to Sources of Labour Information specifically for librarians working in organizations that deal with labor issues. This source, which is a helpful collection development tool, "identifies core information resources in the field of labour, presents tools for the selection of useful material and gives details on how to obtain these core publications." Through the menu on the left side of the screen, the guide gives excellent step-by-step advice in selecting materials that should be included in any library that has a labor focus. The site also offers tips on creating collection development policies and suggests some of the essential materials for labor-related collections.
