Reviewer Comments:

In this exercise students estimate the volume and cost of coffee in extra large coffee cup attached to the back of a small car. Students will approximate the volume of coffee based on the size of the car and the mass of coffee assuming coffee has the same mass as water. The activity is unique and should engage students. The activity would be improved by including some possible calculations. Students will need to have previous experience with calculating volumes of cylinders; and know the relationship between volume and mass (density of water). Overall, an interesting exercise, but additional information is needed.
