This resource says, “This project gives seven different projects linked to The Call of the Wild. Art, research, theme, technical directions and consumer docs, vocabulary, character development, and geography/plot are explored through various software programs.” However, I was able to access one document described as a UOP – a framework for designing technology integrated classroom activities and a shared language for teachers. Within that document, the question is posed as to how to use technology to enhance understanding or geography, plot and theme in Call of the Wild. Even this document seems to only be a partial piece of the whole. I also linked to the shmoop site, where a nutshell synopsis of The Call of the Wild is given, followed by more analysis of themes, quotes, literary devices, characters, trivia, audio, photos, links and more. Big picture study questions are also presented.
