Archive of the Environmental Science Seminar Series, sponsored by the American Meteorological Society (AMS), presenting talks by major research scientists. The series is aimed at the general public and moderated by Dr. Anthony Socci (Senior Science Fellow, AMS). The archive includes summaries, powerpoint presentations (in HTML and PDF), and speaker biographies for each of the seminars, which have been offered approximately once a month since May 2005. The June 2007 presentation by Dr. Naomi Oreskes (History, UCSD), entitled "The Scientific Consensus on Climate Change: How Do We Know We Are Not Wrong?" is accompanied by the full text of her chapter by the same title in DeMento and Doughman, eds., Climate Change (MIT Press, 2007).
