Reviewer Comments:

This short podcast is part of the Meet Me at the Corner series. This wonderful video explores bike safety in NYC. A young bike rider narrator is fitted for a new helmet and then takes us to NYC’s St. John Cathedral of the Devine for a Blessing of the Bikes. It is a virtual field trip on a bike in and around NYC. We learn the proper fit for a helmet, a bit about bike safety and visit the church during a blessing of the bikes. We meet the man who helped create the yearly blessing and hear about biking in NYC from a bike enthusiast. This interesting video is well produced, highly informational and does indeed bring a piece of NYC to students all over the world.
